Brashear faced North Shelby Friday night in the 1st round of the Class 1 District 13 baseball tournament. Brashear took an early 1-0 lead only to see North Shelby pull ahead. The Tigers managed to regain the lead 4-3, but North Shelby rallied to advance with a 5-4 win. Carson Erwin, Avery Zentz, Jace Snelling, Jack Reeves, Lane Stutsman, Alex Houghton, John Higgins, and Brandon Jochimsen all had hits for Brashear. Brandon Jochimsen got the start for Brashear with Carson Erwin and Jace Snelling pitching in relief.
